Prolotherapy with Very Fine Needle and Low Concentration of Glucose in a Patient with Chronic Lateral Elbow Pain

Prolotherapy is a non-surgical injection treatment method that repeatedly injects small amounts of proliferators into damaged ligaments, tendon, joints and surrounding tissues. The most common proliferator high concentration glucose solution. Glucose solutions with 10-25% are commonly used. using solution has few serious adverse events, but side effects include post pain, stiffness, edema, mild bleeding. There many cases complaining pain caused by during or after prolotherapy. Some patients give up if the severe. A 43-year-old male patient visited hospital both elbow left wrist prolotherapy was performed. In order to minimize procedure patient, 10% 0.5% lidocaine injected very fine needle 30 G. total number treatments eight. did not complain insertion post-injection pain. Chronic lasted for two years almost disappeared. satisfied this result.
